ALESSIO’S GLAD HOUSE (RE-BRAND/LAUNCH CAMPAIGN)

This was a very special project for me as one of our team members had previously lost her son Alessio to suicide. A foundation was created in his name, and there was a previous campaign highlighting the “beast” inside of us all (depression). The challenge was to create a campaign leveraging the brand as well as being extra sensitive to our team member. For me, the goal was to give AGH a real purpose.

WHAT IS ALESSIO’S GLAD HOUSE?
Is it a physical house or a metaphorical one? We believe it can be both. Alessio's Glad House is a safe space, a happy place, where young adults in college can get the support they need. Alessio’s Glad House can become a beacon of hope when you are feeling lonely and depressed. Ultimately, it will grow into a supportive community and meeting place as well as an umbrella organization that can connect people in need with the right support.

EVOLVING THE BRAND
Drawing inspiration from LED artist Massimo Uberti, we created what could be a physical manifestation of Alessio’s Glad House on campus––a house without walls that is open to all.

Starting with the logo/lockup that was created using Alessio’s handwritten font I evolved the brand ID to incorporate the LED house as a simple recognizable icon. Also selecting a warm inviting color palette would help elevate the brand as well as evolve what was already established.

ON CAMPUS ACTIVATIONS – FROM YOUR HOUSE TO OUR HOUSE
Fraternity and Sorority Houses play a major role in a student’s collegiate experience. Greek life not only helps build instant, lifelong connections, it bridges the gap for those struggling to find their place and make new friends. Fraternity and Sorority Houses provide a sense of familial belonging where every brother and sister is always glad to meet you.

AGH would also co-sponsor on campus events as well as a yearly summit which would bring different mental health organizations under one roof.

SOCIAL

WEBSITE – UI/UX
The website would be a where the Glass House community would use to connect with each other and discover important resources. We will improve the UI/UX of the site to be better suited as a resource and community.
